It is a big problem, I have loads of friends who hate their jobs because they are boring.
For me, level of boredom mostly depends on the co-workers’ relationship and at the moment it’s great.

Have you ever heard of Linda Duxbury? She’s an expert on workplace demographics, and she describes baby boomers as ‘retired on the job”. I think she has a good point — when work gets boring, you just tune it out and put in your time. I’d hate to think that’s what’s left for my 40s 50s and 60s in the work world!
